If you've ever built a website without seeing the results in your search engine statistics your not alone.  In fact, over 99% of the websites on the internet are not optimized properly for gaining good results or a high page rank in google.  Now maybe that sounds unrealistic but it is very true!

I've been studying seo optimization pretty much since the start of my online prescence.  I've learned many techniques from some of the most "honest" reputable sources around.   My quest for knowledge in this area is forever thirsty and through time I've managed to decipher what is real in terms of proper search engine optimization, and also, what a pile of crap is.

My quest for knowledge in this area first started with the teachings of Brad Callen.  Brad is one of the foremost authorities in this area and is also the creator of the software SEO Elite. 

Next, I've studied Holly Mann's teachings who is also a monster in the SEO game.  I'm a member and administrator of Holly's forum and over time we have become friends. This is real nice because she really is a very inspirational and awesome person.  Holly has been able to achieve top search engine rankings with every one of her many sites.  She is also the renowned author of Honest Riches.  One of the best selling books for making money online of this era.  Holly has recently released the updated Honest Riches2 with up to date information for 2007 and beyond.  Holly Mann teaches excellent strong foundations in getting you up to speed and started in not only SEO but in owning and running an online business.

The teachings of Charles Heflin without a doubt cannot go unnoticed.  Charles is the real deal when it comes to teaching people about site structure and the importance of a well siloed site etc.  He is definitely one of the good guys out there truly helping people with their knowledge of proper meta tag structure, silo structured sites, keyword analysis etc.  Charles was just plain fed up with people being screwed over by all of the misinformation floating around the internet marketing circles and decided that enough was enough, and he wanted to make a difference.  With that Charles wrote The Master Plan which is techniques in advanced SEO.  

Video is becoming important these days in SEO campaign management as well.  Which brings me to Herald Anderson.  Herald is a master at getting results fast and doing this with video is becoming more and more popular all the time.  Herald Anderson's teachings really run along the lines of making the search engines spiders go crazy with activity.  Quite exciting material!  In this site for now were going to concentrate on meta-tag-optimization, keyword research, organic seo, and of course we will be discussing how to improve search engine rankings.  But who knows I may end up covering video as well.
