What is Organic SEO or Natural Search Engine Optimization?

Organic SEO is one of the common phrases the moment. Although, unlike many highly acclaimed linking tactics and strategies, this one actually works.

Put simply, it's where all your linking structures begins from the content up -- in other words, you let all your content created for your sites, blogs and articles do your link building for you.

The greater and more valuable the content, the quicker your rankings and traffic will flourish. By producing real value content in articles, sites and blogs, you are creating real traffic and real links that the search engines knock themselves over for. And they will reward your site with higher rankings and even more traffic.

Organic SEO or  natural search engine optimization is a slow and steady process. Achieving top rankings takes time and high quality link building is a large part of that effort. If you are to have a successful web site and obtain high search engine rankings you will need quality relevant web sites linking to your web site.  It goes far beyond just proper meta tag structure.  The number of links you need will depend on the competitiveness of the keyword phrases for which you are optimizing. More web masters are focusing on quantity over quality and getting links quick. This is a mistake because it can be taken as manipulating the search engines. Look over the guidelines for the search engine you are trying to optimize for, this will give you a better idea of what you should be doing.

When trying to get links from other sites pay attention to the quality of the link. Do the pages have anything to do with your web site? Where is the link positioned? Is it off to the side with a bunch of other sites? Does it appear natural and like it should be there? What is the "anchor text" of the link?  Are you asking yourself these questions when optimizing off site links. Reciprocal links have some value, but some software that automates the process seems to have gotten out of hand.  Even working with a great program such as IBP, with the linking power and automation of the Aurelis portion of the software, it is wise, if not necessary for you to switch up the type of information your are linking with. This will create a much more natural or organic type of structure for you.  Software tools are excellent if used wisely, but you also have to know that misuse, or not understanding your use, may hurt you in terms of your seo campaign management.   Plus do you really want a link on some of these crappy directory pages? How much value do they add by linking to you?  Not a hell of a lot in many circumstances.

The Time Factor in Organic or Natural Search Engine Optimization?

SEO's timeframe depends on many factors. Part of this is the accuracy of keyword phrase choices: is the keyword phrase one your visitors would use to find your product or website? If your keyword phrases are targeted to your audience, you stand to achieve much better results. Are you using Paid inclusion,  Pay Per Click and/or PPC services? The best combination for success involves using a combination of SEO, Paid Inclusion and PPC services. If you do not use Paid Inclusion or PPC, using Organic SEO only, it will and does take longer. 

You must ask yourself when you are creating and optimizing your sites this question.  Are you in this for some quick cash, or are you building yourself a long standing and strong business?  The latter makes much more sense to me.  Doesn't that make much more sense to you?  IBP will shorten the amount of time you spend at achieving the type of results your after.  Not me, not them, not anybody else but, YOU!
